Student Nutritional Program Appreciation Event Followup

Last night, the Northumberland Food For Thought Steering Committee had an appreciation event for their sponsors.

To set the record straight however, it is the students who actually do this.
For the last few classes, we have donated a portion of our student tuition to a charity.
In class, there are a few charities proposed, and then the students vote.

So this award is really more for my driving school students, not for me.

As I stated in my previous post, I support local charities because I believe in them, not because of any honors that I get.
But I will admit that it is nice to be appreciated.
